Health Integrator is a digital health marketplace that provides individuals with tools for better health based on their personal needs and conditions - for a better health and prevention of chronic diseases such as type-2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Together with a certified health coach, and based on a health analysis the individual chooses a tailor-made program. He or she selects desired activities to reach the defined goals. An individual health plan with goals provides overview and motivation. Follow-up and coaching helps to keep motivation up. All in all, this helps the individual to succeed in changing his or her lifestyle (diet, physical activity, stress, sleep, alcohol and tobacco). Health Integrator's digital health platform has been validated in a clinical study in a collaboration between HeaIth Integrator, KaroIinska Institutet (KI), Region Stockholm. Arriva, Apoteket, Nobina and Länsförsäkringar participated. Results from the study with 200 participants were positive. “To make lasting changes in life habits is a challenge,” says Ylva Trolle Lagerros, a senior researcher at KI, and principal investigator. "Already after three months we were able to see statistically significant differences in health variables such as waist measurements and blood pressure between the group that used Health Integrator's platform and the group that did not," says Ylva Trolle Lagerros.
